UCLA Brain Power Study

The UCLA Brain Power Study seeks to examine the potential of the brain to learn and make decisions. In addition to studying the brain, this study seeks to educate children and adolescents about brain development through classroom presentations at schools where we educate them about the brain and sleep. We also bring dissected human or sheep brains to allow for a more interactive experience. Additionally, kids are given the opportunity to participate in our research by providing parent contact information. Eligible families are then scheduled to visit UCLA to partake in the study, and participants receive a monetary compensation and a video of their brain.
