Arrival and entry
Entrance for all school groups traveling by private bus will be via Convention Center Drive behind the South Hall. Groups arriving by public bus, Metro or by private vehicle will enter via the South Hall foyer off South Figueroa Street. Look out for the purple YoMo signs indicating access to the festival.
If you are traveling by bus, Production Transport will notify you of your scheduled arrival and departure times. If you have not received this information, please contact them urgently:

Please note that Mobile World Congress Americas will be operating in the same venue and access is shared with this corporate exhibition.
Adult professionals (including exhibitors)
All adults attending without children will enter the Kentia hall via the left side of the South Hall lobby on South Figueroa Street. There will be a specific entrance for YoMo.
Make sure you have both your registration barcode, and ID document you used when registering, in order to speed up your entry.
The Los Angeles Convention Center is a fully accessible venue. Please contact us before your visit if you have any special needs.
There will be no cloak room facilities on site. We suggest that you carry as little as possible with you.
Dining and self-catering
There is a picnic area for attendees to eat their lunch while at the event. Close to the picnic area there is a catering outlet where you will be able to buy food and beverages at any time during the event days.
School groups are allowed to bring in packed lunches for their students. There is a locked storage area next to the schools entrance where you can store any portable coolers while your students are on the show floor. Any valuables are left here at your own risk, and neither YoMo nor the LACC will accept responsibility for any lost or damaged lost items.
There will be a nurse and doctor on site during the event. Should you need this service, please notify the closest member of staff.
Health & Safety assessments
Should you require health and safety assessment information prior to attendance, please contact us and we will provide our standard risk assessment.
If you have any other questions on site, please see the staff at our Information Point. You’ll find it to the right side of the schools entrance in front of the Theater.
Lost Child Protocol
All under 18 attendees will be issued a wristband on site. Each group will have a unique identifying number to the band prior to entry indicating their group number. Each group will be asked to provide a cell number to contact the lead booker on site in event of a lost child from the group.
Any lost child found on site will be reunited with the lead booker at the information point. Any adult missing a child is to report it to a member of staff immediately.
The YoMo show floor will be open from 9am to 4pm on October 22 and 23, and from 9am until 5pm on October 24. You will not be able to enter the venue after 3pm on the 24th.
A robust security plan will ensure the safety and comfort of all attendees. Should a security incident arise, please notify the closest member of staff when on site.
A bag check and security wand will be in place at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The Center reserves the right to search all bags upon entry to the venue. YoMo and the Los Angeles Convention Center reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone should this be required, and do not accept any liability for items that may be lost, destroyed or damaged while at YoMo.
Please do not leave any valuables unattended. Any unattended items will be removed and possibly destroyed.
Please remember the accompanying adults for each group are responsible for the safety and well-being and behavior of all students on site. Any unruly behavior by student attendee can result in the entire group being removed from YoMo and barred from future attendance.
