About YoMo Los Angeles

YoMo Los Angeles aims to inspire thousands of young people and help them learn more about careers in STEAM sectors in an increasingly mobile world.

About YoMo Los Angeles

Over three days, YoMo Los Angeles will welcome over 15,000 school children and educators to one huge showcase of science and technology.

YoMo is designed to bring classroom learning to life – by showing the exciting and rewarding career opportunities that are available in the mobile and STEAM ecosystem. With live shows, interactive workshops, and dozens of hands-on activities, there is something to engage every young person.

YoMo Los Angeles is free to attend for registered school groups and education professionals.

YoMo provides a unique opportunity for organizations within the STEAM community, academia, professional organizations and businesses engaged in the youth market to all come together and showcase their technology, brands, skills and ideas.

In 2019, YoMo features LA Promise Fund’s annual summit Hello Future. YoMo is proudly supported by the California Department for Education, Mayor Garcetti and the City of Los Angeles, Los Angeles Unified School District, and our after schools partner Think Together.

YoMo is an event of MWC Los Angeles – the mobile industry’s premier event – and the GSMA, in collaboration with CTIA and Mobile World Capital Barcelona, representing the interests of 800 mobile network operators worldwide.
