Questions about your registration? We're here to help.
The School Group Application process started in September. Thus, most school group places have now been reserved, but we still have some places left for Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon between 13.00 and 16:30. If your school is interested in coming to YoMo 2019 during these time slots, please contact us for more information.
If your school is not available to come to YoMo Barcelona 2019 on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon, you can make sure you’re among the first to know when visitor registration opens for YoMo Barcelona 2020 by expressing your interest.
YoMo Barcelona 2019 will open its doors to the general public on the 2nd of March from 10am to 4pm. Express your interest to attend YoMo as a parent or guardian with children and be among the first to know when the registration process opens.
No, YoMo Barcelona 2019 is addressed to 8 to 16 year old students (from the third grade of primary school to the fourth grade of high school).
As our application form highlights, schools that do not apply for more than 100 students will have a better chance of being selected. In this way, more schools will be able to enjoy the festival.
Contact the YoMo Registration Team at email@example.com.
As a general rule, there should not be more than one adult for each 15 students.
As the Eventbrite Manual sent to the schools selected to visit YoMo indicates, you will be able to edit your information until the 18th of January. In addition, you can contact the YoMo Registration Team via firstname.lastname@example.org to solve any other query.
Send and email to the YoMo Registration Team via email@example.com explaining your situation.
No, we don't need to see these permission documents. We only need you to confirm when filling the School Group Registration form that you have gathered all the parental permissions.
It is not necessary that parents or guardians specifically fill the parental consent form that we have sent you. If you already have one that asks the same questions it will be considered valid too.
NO. The email address that we use to communicate with you and the email address you use during the registration process to Eventbrite should be the same.
The person in charge of registration (i.e. Lead Booker) can only be changed in exceptional cases. If this person needs to be changed please contact the YoMo Registration Team via firstname.lastname@example.org and explain your situation.
Please, have a look to the Eventbrite Manual that we sent to all schools selected to attend YoMo. There you will find the answers of all questions related to Eventbrite.
This year students must be introduced one by one to Eventbrite. As you can see in the Eventbrite Manual that we sent to all schools selected, it is not necessary to register all the students during the same day, you can do it by small numbers. The deadline end in the 18th of January, but if you need more time you can contact the YoMo Registration Team via email@example.com.
YoMo Festival stands will be managed by "first come, first served" method, so if you arrive quite late maybe some of them will be already occupied and your students will have to queue up. We will not deny the entrance to any group even if it arrives quite late, but to enjoy the Festival we recommend attendees punctuality, since you will not be able to stay longer than the end time indicated in your shift. Workshops, shows and presentations have a specific schedule that will not change if a group is late. If a group that has reserved an activity does not arrive on time, this group will lose its reservation.
It is not compulsory, but collecting the wristbands in the week before the event will speed up the entrance of your group on the day of the Festival, especially for groups with over 100 students. Many groups will attend YoMo at the same time and groups that already wear the wristand will enter to the event through a fast line that will move more quickly.
All the stands, workshops, presentations and shows will be facilitated by researchers, facilitators and STEAM professionals. There won't be volunteers or educators accompanying your students while they freely walk through the show floor. YoMo guarantees a safe space where students can enjoy a unique immersive experience.
This year we have established two shifts to enable more schools to enjoy the Festival. This means that your group won't be able to spend the whole day at YoMo. We will invite the School Groups from themorning shift to leave the hall around 12.30 pm, to ensure that the School Groups that visit YoMo in the afternoon can enter the venue at 1 pm. Only on Friday school groups will be able to stay until 3pm.
If you want to discover the activities that will take place at YoMo Barcelona 2019 have a look to the following link: https://www.mwcyomo.com/bcn/en/programme/. Through this link you will be able to filter activities by theme, topic, age range, or type. This is not the final program, as we are still adding activities to the program.
You can only reserve the participation of your students for the workshops, presentations and shows. A "reservation" button will be activated at our website on the 21st of January 2019. It is not possible to reserve the participation of your students for activities happening at YoMo Festival stands, as these are managed on a "first come, first served" basis and students will have to queue up to participate in these activities.
Yes, but you can only access this area during the hours of your shift. If you want to picnic before or after your shift, we propose a big green area located a few minutes from the venue. There is also a shopping center next to the hall.
No, the MWC is a commercial event for companies managed with paid tickets.
YES, students who can not be photographed can still visit YoMo. Upon entering the event, we will give you a badge that indicates that this student can not be photographed or recorded, so the photographer who will be in YoMo will not take any photograph or record him or her.
Be among the first to know when visitor registration opens, or find out more about participating as an activity provider or sponsor.
