Who needs to be registered?
- Exhibition team members – anyone involved in setting up or delivering your activity on site will need an Exhibitor Pass
- Guests – anyone who will be visiting your stand during event hours will need a Guest Pass
An Exhibitor Pass allows access during extended hours, including the build day. See all event access times.
You must register all exhibition team members and guests by Friday, 14 February.
To register your exhibition team members or guests, you will need the Exhibitor (ending in ‘E’) or Guest (ending in ‘G’) Access Codes that you received from the YoMo Registration Team.
These codes have a limited number of uses, based on the numbers allocated to your organisation. If you need to register additional team members or guests, please contact the registration team.
Step 1 – Create an Eventbrite Group and register the primary contact
An Eventbrite Group allows you to manage all your registrations in one place. Once you have created your group, you can:
- Keep track of who has already been registered
- Edit or delete any existing registrations
- Invite your team members or guests to register themselves
[ 1 ] Create an Eventbrite account. Your Eventbrite account must use the same email address to which we emailed your registration instructions. Unless you already have an Eventbrite account that uses this email address, you must create a new account.
You may already be logged in to your personal Eventbrite account. Please ensure you log out in order to create your new account.
[ 2 ] Once logged in to your new account, click the registration link below:
[ 3 ] Click “Register”, then select “As a group member”:
[ 4 ] Select “Create your group”:
If the “Create your group” button is not selectable, it means you are not logged in to Eventbrite. Please log in to your new Eventbrite account by selecting “log in”.
[ 5 ] Name your Group. We recommend using either your company name or Exhibitor Number, as this will make it easier for others to join your group. Please remember that your Group’s name will be publicly visible.
[ 6 ] Once you have successfully created your Group Page, you can now register yourself (the primary contact). Enter your Exhibitor Access Code (ending in ‘E’) and click “Apply code”.
[ 7 ] Select your ticket and click “Register”.
[ 8 ] Complete the form. Don’t forget to accept the terms and conditions and click to complete your registration.
[ 9 ] Once you’ve completed the registration form you will receive the following confirmation message. You will also receive an email containing your PDF entry ticket.
You can now begin registering your exhibition team and guests by following the instructions below.
Step 2 – Register your exhibition team and guests
There are two ways to register your team members or guests:
A – Registering on their behalf
The instructions below demonstrate how you register an exhibition team member or guest on their behalf. Each person will still need to be registered individually.
You can also invite people to register themselves.
When registering on behalf of someone else, you will have to accept the event terms and conditions in their name.
To register an exhibition team member or guest, you will need:
- either the Exhibitor Access Code (ending in ‘E’) or Guest Access Code (ending in ‘G’) that you received from the YoMo Registration Team
- their personal details – including full name, ID number and date of birth
- their contact details and marketing preferences – including email address and mobile phone (only used by our team in case of an emergency)
[ A1 ] Sign in to Eventbrite. If you’re not already, make sure you sign in using the same Eventbrite account you used when creating your Group.
Forgot your Eventbrite account password? Visit www.eventbrite.com/reset-password and follow the instructions.
[ A2 ] Visit the registration form:
[ A3 ] Click “Register”, then select “As a group member”:
[ A4 ] You will be asked to “Join A Group”. Enter the name you gave your Eventbrite Group, then select it from the drop-down menu:
[ A5 ] Enter either your Exhibitor or Guest Access Code, depending on who you are registering. Click “Apply code”.
[ A6 ] Select your ticket and click “Register”.
[ A7 ] Complete the form – making sure to use the contact details of the person you are registering. Don’t forget to accept the terms and conditions and click to complete the registration.
[ A8 ] Once you’ve completed the registration form you will receive the following confirmation message. A confirmation email will also be sent to the person that you have registered.
[ A9 ] View and download the ticket. If you select “View Current Orders”, Eventbrite will show you an overview of the tickets you have ordered with your Eventbrite account. Use the person’s name to find the ticket you want to view.
[ A10 ] OPTIONAL – Review and edit the registration. From your Group Page, select the person’s name to see the details of that registration. Select “Edit” if you wish to edit these details.
You can edit adult registrations up until 14 February, 2020.
B – Invite them to register themselves
If you choose this option, the team member or guest ticket will not be recorded in your Eventbrite account. The individual will receive their PDF ticket and will be responsible for bringing it to the event.
You can also register on behalf of your team or guests.
[ B1 ] Access your Eventbrite Group Page. Once logged in, the best way to reach your Group Page is to select “Tickets” from the drop-down menu of your Eventbrite account:
This page will show all of the tickets and groups you’ve created with your Eventbrite account. Select the Group Page you created:
[ B2 ] To invite someone to register, click the “Invite” button on your Group Page:
[ B3 ] When composing your message, please remember to include your Exhibitor or Guest Access Code (depending on who you are inviting).
The individual will now receive an email from Eventbrite that invites them to join the group and register for YoMo. Upon clicking “Join this group”, they will be taken to your Group’s registration page.
To register, they will need to enter your Exhibitor or Guest Access Code. After entering the code, they should click the “Register” button to complete the registration form.
The names of all registered exhibition team members and guests will appear on your Group Page, including those who have registered themselves.
Changes and cancellations
You can replace any existing registrant by cancelling their order (see A9). You can then register the new individual with the same access code.
